I’m thinking to read The Last Chinese Chef by Nicole Mones for this category. I’m interested in a couple of books you listed too.
Ruth Reichl’s other two books about her adventures as a restaurant critic would be a good choice for this category: “Garlic and Sapphires” and “Comfort Me with Apples”.
